One way or another

Hypnotherapy can make use of any number of approaches. A typical session will begin with a little exploratory conversation, followed by getting you into a state of deep relaxation. Forget the bizarre images from stage hypnosis or the movies - this is simply a pleasantly relaxed state in which the conscious, rational mind settles to stillness and the sub-conscious becomes more open to receiving guidance. At this point the exact nature of the technique will depend on your sticking points and aspirations. There is no one-size-fits-all approach, and each session will address what is most relevant to you.
